👋🏻 Hello again! I’m Lexi.

A UX designer based in Los Angeles. 

With 8+ years of experience in journalism and editing, research and learning, in which a good UX design process is firmly rooted, is like a second nature to me. I advocate to infuse empathy into user-centered designs by testing assumptions, asking questions that get to the root of the problem, and really listening to users.  I’m skilled at simplifying complex discoveries gathered from research, synthesizing them, and translating them into valuable insights. 

I excel in a fast-paced environment, which was the norm when working on breaking news stories. I enjoy collaboration and always find myself fascinated by diverse perspectives people bring into the work. Just like it takes an entire newsroom to deliver a story, any design process is teamwork. I am a lifelong learner and an ego-booster, who is continuously curious about new things and new technologies.

When I’m not working on UX design, I thrive in the kitchen preparing delicious food for my loved ones and cuddling with my cats, Cookie and Creamy.
